We had a great experience with Freya of Happy Dog Carmel! It was our wedding weekend and she not only took care of our yellow lab during the party and the rehearsal but she also helped us out with the ceremony so Nala could deliver the rings! Thanks Freya!

I am spending the winter in Carmel by the Sea with my Labrador retriever for 3 months. I found Happy Dog Carmel online and saw all the great reviews, and I cannot agree more with all the love Freya has received from clients. She has been amazing for Moose & I. I have been getting out to golf a number of times and other events & Freya has been been there to help stay, feed and take Moose on fun walks on the beach and trails nearby. I love getting the pictures of Moose having the time of his life with Freya! Freya is worth every penny and I feel so comfortable when she is with Moose. He loves his time with her. I plan to spend winters here moving forward and Freya will be my go to for spending time with Moose when I am away. Thanks for everything Freya!!

Freya was absolutely wonderful with Rio! She was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with from the start, which made coordinating everything so smooth. She arrived right on time to our hotel and immediately made us feel at ease with her calm, kind demeanor.
It was clear she knew exactly how to interact with Rio. He warmed up to her quickly and was so happy. She took him on a walk, and you could tell he had the best time. We especially appreciated the picture updates she sent while we were out. It meant so much to know he was in good hands and enjoying himself.
Freya brought him back right on time, and Rio was wagging his tail and clearly happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!
